Past Invitations to participate in ICCR Reporting Initiatives
2024 Draft reports available for review
Prostate cancer – transurethral resection and enucleation (update of 1st edition)
Prostate – core needle biopsy (update of 1st edition)
We are writing to invite the International Academy of Pathology (IAP) to review the following draft International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) Prostate datasets:
Prostate cancer – transurethral resection and enucleation (update of 1st edition)
Prostate – core needle biopsy (update of 1st edition)
The ICCR has been formed to develop common, internationally standardised and evidence-based cancer datasets for surgical pathology specimens. Using the best international approaches, and leveraging the knowledge and experience of world-leading pathologists, the ICCR aims to ensure that all cancer reports, will be of the same high quality; ensuring completeness, consistency, clarity, conciseness and above all, clinical utility. The ICCR has published 62 cancer datasets to date which are available at: http://www.iccr-cancer.org/datasets.
2024 Draft ICCR Genitourinary datasets available for review

Carcinoma of the penis and distal urethra (update of 1st edition)
Germ cell tumours of the testis – orchidectomy (update of 1st edition)
Neoplasia of the testis – retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy (update of 1st edition)
Prostate cancer – radical prostatectomy specimen (update of 2nd edition)

2024 Draft 2nd edition ICCR Tumours of the Central Nervous System (CNS) dataset available for review
We are writing to invite the International Academy of Pathology (IAP) to review the draft 2nd edition International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) Tumours of the Central Nervous System (CNS) dataset.
The dataset is split into three sections:
Histological assessment of CNS specimens. It is intended that this section should be used in conjunction with the other sections. A full diagnosis of CNS tumours should ideally conform to the 2021 World Health Organization (WHO) Classification of Tumours of the CNS which requires integration of elements from histological and ancillary analyses. However, some 2021 CNS WHO entities can be diagnosed solely on the basis of histological features and in this situation only this section needs to be completed.
Molecular information for CNS specimens. This section is to be used for those tumours in which molecular or immunohistochemistry information is captured for diagnostic purposes.
Final integrated report/diagnosis for CNS specimens. In many situations, 2021 CNS WHO diagnoses integrate histological and molecular information and this section is intended for the capture of that final diagnosis.
