These events had originally been intended to take place as face-to-face meetings in London, UK. But, owing to the development of the OMICRON variant of COVID-19 we made the difficult decision to revert to virtual meetings again in 2022.
The virtual format of these events allows us the opportunity to extend our invitation to delegates from countries recognized within the list of low- and middle-income countries on the World Bank list. We are pleased to confirm 100 complimentary tickets have been made available, per day, on a first come first served basis.
We appreciate that there may be time zone issues with scheduled times for some. But the presentations will be pre-recorded. Therefore, contingent on speaker permission, we propose that as many events as possible will be available in a secure area of the BDIAP website. These will be available to registrants after the event, and therefore accessible even if time zones do not permit live attendance.
