Dear Sirs,

The year 2021 brought significant changes in the Czech division of IAP. After many years of successful work, the members of the current office have decided to end their positions. Subsequently, regular two-round elections were held, the results of which were published in the minutes of the Electoral Committee on June 1, 2021. The members of the new office were elected: Professor Jaroslava Dušková, MD, PhD, Professor Jiří Ehrmann, MD, PhD, Professor Jan Laco, MD, PhD, and Iva Staniczková-Zambo, MD, PhD. At the subsequent first meeting held on June 25, 2021, Professor Laco was elected President and Professor Dušková was elected Secretary and Treasurer (combined position).

After handing over of the agenda from the members of the resigning office, the members of the newly elected office began to work immediately. As a result of their activities, two major nationwide congresses taking place in the autumn were held under the auspices of the Czech Division of IAP:

XLVI. Congress of Czech Pathologists with International Participation
